If you use UNICORN™ software in your laboratory, you should know about the Windows updates to be carried out this year;
After October 14th 2025, Microsoft will no longer be providing free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. Windows have recommended that users move over to Windows 11. However with this oncoming change, not all versions of UNICORN™ software will be compatible with Windows 11.
UNICORN™ V 7.0.2 SP1 – V 7.8 SP1 will only be compatible with Windows 10, and NOT Windows 11, whereas UNICORN™ V 7.10 + will be compatible with both Windows 10 and Windows 11. If you are looking to upgrade your existing device’s PCs to Windows 11, you will need to upgrade to UNICORN™ 7.10 or above.
